hier liegen wir zwar völlig überteuert aber sicher vor einem yachthafen an der mooring (festmacherboje). Boca Chica ist ein bunter touri-ort in dem sich die grösstenteils europäischen, alten, dicken männer junge, hübsche und grossbusige mädels für ihren urlaubsaufenthalt anmieten. wir mieten uns nur ein auto und fahren zusammen mit Bertel und Ute von der "Odin" ins hinterland. davon abgesehen, dass uns ein halber tag verloren geht, weil uns ein mopedfahrer in die seite knallt und dafür auch noch geld haben will, wir aber - typisch deutsch - wollen, dass alles seine ordnung hat und uns mit der polizei und etwa 50 dazukgekommenen mopedfahrern rumschlagen, bis die polizei den übeltäter am liebsten selbst bezahlen will, damit endlich alles vorbei ist, tja, bis auf das haben wir eine schöne zeit und entdecken das landesinnere der insel (wir werden später darüber aufgeklärt, dass das hier eben so läuft. derjenige, der geld hat, bezahlt denjenigen, der kein geld hat, ganz unwichtig, wer schuld oder einen schaden hat). wir fahren in die berge. es gibt hier über 3-tausender und die landschaft erinnert uns an südtirol. heimatliche gefühle machen sich breit. die berge und täler sind von lärchenwäldern überzogen und die leute hier bauen erdbeeren, birnen und äpfel an, was in der karibik einzigartig ist..

als wir abends vor einem kleinen verlassenen eiland den anker werfen, freuen wir uns das erstemal seit wir segeln nicht auf den feierabend. dieser wird nämlich keiner sein. uns steht eine menge arbeit und fluchen bevor.
