am nachmittag des 19. mai wird der mast aufgestellt und bis mitternacht klar schiff gemacht, damit wir am nächsten morgen auch endlich lossegeln können. um 6.00 stehen wir auf und schalten das laptop, auf dem unsere seekarten gespeichert sind, und das deshalb unser wichtigstes navigationsinstrument darstellt, ein. natürlich fährt es nicht hoch. gross und breit steht "ERROR" auf dem bildschirm. ein oder zwei stunden sitzen wir davor und probieren dies und das, schalten den computer ein und wieder aus, bis er uns dann doch irgendwann wohlgesinnt zu sein scheint und hochfährt, so als wäre nix gewesen. endlich können wir unseren ersten segeltag in diesem jahr beginnen! wir hatten die letzten tage heftigen Mistral, und auch heute bläst der wind für den anfang ein bisschen zu doll, aber wir hoffen, dass das nur die letzten züge des mistrals sind, die im laufe des tages nachlassen. es wird tatsächlich ein sehr schöner segeltag, ein bisschen viel seegang für den anfang, aber wir kommen gut voran und erreichen kurz vor sonnenuntergang sogar noch Marseille. nachdem wir in dem riesigen und überfüllten hafen tatsächlich noch ein plätzchen abgestaubt haben, werden wir auch schon von Francoise, die wir bei den bühnenbildnern in Port Saint Luis kennengelernt haben, abgeholt und zu ihrem lieblings-couscous-restaurant geführt. mit vollen bäuchen fallen wir gegen mitternacht erschöpft in unsere kojen. 3 tage Marseille genügen uns dann auch voll und ganz, wir sind des lärms und gestanks der grossstadt überdrüssig und sehnen uns nach ruhe und natur.
