von diesem hafen aus fahren wir weiter nach Sete, und zecken uns da in einem hafenbecken, das eigentlich für die grossschiffahrt reserviert ist, an den kai. schon wieder hat sich für die nächsten 2 tage der Mistral angekündigt und zwingt uns auch dort einen längeren stopp als geplant einzulegen. eines morgens funktioniert plötzlich unsere klospülung, die mit meerwasser betrieben wird, nichtmehr. irgendwas muss beim pumpen in das rohr eingesaugt worden sein. ein blick nach draussen bietet uns einen seltsamen anblick: tausende von quallen treiben im wasser, bestimmt ein- bis zweihundert pro quadratmeter. sie müssen sich beim familienausflug verirrt haben. am nächsten tag sind sie dann bis auf ein paar wenige wieder verschwunden.

das müsste man bloss, wenn man dazu aufgefordert wird. also setzen wir uns still hin und warten. nach 10 minuten ist das spektakel vorbei und sie ziehen wieder ihrer wege.
